I'm not here to offend anyone, just to get something off my chest!

I was looking through a couple forum and social networking pages and it really started to honk me off!
First off there was someone complaining about cyclists in general, how they should not be able to ride on the same streets he drives on, going on and on about they cause him to have road rage, slow traffic, and that they should slap a big fat license plate on their asses and have to pay insurance-because he has to!

Well, to the people who feel that way, I say F-U! I pay my taxes, I own a damn car, pay for plates and insurance and if I decide to ride my bike to work or wherever than so be it! The roads belong to everyone, and I will be damned if some small brained cage driver decides otherwise! There are way more things in life that we really need to concentrate on, so get with the program-and lets help those less fortunate. Not gripe about cyclists!

Another site I was on, there where individuals who think fixed gear riders are assholes, they stereo type everyone as hipsters and feel that just because someone decides to ride a fixed gear bike that makes them an instant asshole!

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, the last time I checked I didnt catagorize myself as anything! I enjoy riding fixed gear, so what! I also own a single speed which I use to commute to work on because the pure fact is that Fort Wayne is really lacking bicycle lanes-the hell if i'm going to get mowed down by some cager who has road rage against me. So I would really appriciate the plain fact that I'm out to ride! If you want to consider me an asshole, run me off the damn road and see what happens...I will show you!

I love this country, I gave up 8yrs of my life to protect the freedoms everyone enjoys! So please think about what you say when you "catagorize" us riders-bottom line call me what you want-hell my true friends really know what I am about and thats all that matters!

Finally, this whole "Berlin" thing, please! Lets look at the real picture-no jobs, families being forced out of their homes because some CEO can't live on a million dollar budget, families starving-not being able to feed their children, and all I see are credit card companies raising fees, public utilities going up 5% a year, a bunch of bullshit if you ask me. Stop going after trivial shit like fixed gear cyclists or cyclists in general. Worry about the homefront, your friends, family the ones who REALLY do care-and to the CC Companies out there, you'll get paid as soon as congress approves my "Bail Out"
