"1. no compatibility problems with the crank arms themselves. A French threaded bottom bracket will present problems when you need to replace it. Pretty much nobobdy makes french thread BBs anymore. A vintage oriented bike shop will be your best bet.…"

"Dude, money is always tight! Go to your lbs and pick thru their pull-off bin. You should be able to find a decent set of road cranks that look ok for super cheap. Track specific cranks (SRAM Omnium, Dura-Ace, Sugino 75, etc.) are wayyyyy spendy.…"
