"Gatorskin on back, think it cost $27....Vittoria Rando on front, cost $26....Gator seems more sticky, but both like to roll over nasty debris and ask for more...way better than the weak Kenda tires that came on my Kilo! Rock either one or both!"

"I like specialized armadillos, no punctures since I fitted them and full of 100psi with no stress... they are £25 so I am not sure how much they would cost in the US"

$9 each.
I rode a pair of 27'1/4" Nashbar Primus tires 1400 miles Then I got 3 flats in one week.
Wife has them for 1000 miles on her 700X25 road bike with no flats too.
