"Dude, save a touch more (50 bucks) and buy a surly steamroller, totally worth it and you wont have to upgrade frames, most parts in drive train are made by them ( which is good!) and you will prob end up with an fsa crank, which could be upgraded…"

New to Fixed Gear

So I'm looking at buying my first fixed gear bike but can't spend a lot on my first ride.... about $600 being my max and then upgrading things over time. Looking for someone who could possibly school me in the ways of fixed gear (i.e. what I should be looking for, what gear I should buy, etc) and possibly set up some rides together.
