"Any way you can stop a bike going a decent speed without hurting yourself is fine.  To answer your question idk, but shoes have more purposes than bike tires and shoes normally cost more so you do the math."

Other front wheel, Other rear hub and other rear rim+new spokes. So just another wheelset ;)
Front will be a 16 spokes shimano wheel and the rear 32 spokes with shimano hub and rigida dp18
