My buddy's is fifteen, and didn't seem too hard. I didn't want to buy 15, then a fourteen, when they're like thirty bucks. Reminds me of gauging my ears. When you probably shouldn't skip, but you're trying to cut down on cost. Well, I shoved those gauges in, so I'm gonna stick to 14. Sure I'll get used to it.

I hear ya, I'm doing it gradually. I started with 44/16, went up to 44/15 about 6 months ago. This fall I'm upgrading my crankset then I'll be rocking 46/15

I took my bike on the Burke Gilman, from Redmond to Cascadia/UW Bothell today. It was a monsoon out there, but I wanted to ride my new gearing 46x14. I feel like I can haul ass, but I can't hardly skid anymore. 16 to 14 is a big diff.
