Hey guys,

Sorry for not posting in quite some time (I'm still under several feet of snow and ice in Hokkaido). The earthquake and tsunami has caused unimaginable loss here in Japan. I was very lucky to be far enough north that we only felt the M8.9 quake as a M3. We were shaken, but nothing in my city was destroyed. We also avoided the tsunami. Unfortunately, we are now worried about radiation blowing north from the Fukushima reactors...

I urge you all to donate to the Japanese Red Cross or other accredited relief ogranization if possible, as there are countless people over here without food, water, or shelter. The death toll is sure to jump over 10,000 in coming days, and it could be far more than that if the radiation is not contained.

Thank, guys!

Jeff
