Agreed Stay away from gators and dillos.. they go through so fast it's rediculous. Waste of money for fixed no brakes.
Thickslicks, a bit of a pain to swap in and out, but as the name implies, there's alot more rubber to go through, and they aren't too pricey
I've been wondering about thickslicks but only see them on cruisers - Can they last on a cyclist that skids for a living?
Yeah man, I put mine on in march and I'm just now replacing the back tire, and I skid a ton, and I'm definately putting another thickslick on to replace it, it still has life on the bottom, but I'm replacing it early just to avoid any potential problems
