link doesn't work
link works just fine. Yet I am not sure what to think of them...haha I suppose just personal pref. kinda a neat idea though. Looks the coolest on the flatland riders bike in the video.
reminds me of cheezy rave days....go 1993!!
i guess your right about motorists seeing us...maybe theres a way to arrange them where they dont look so over the top lol
i dont see how these could be street legal. in wisconsin on motor vehicles you cant have any lights on the wheels. i'm saying your causing a distraction and possibly causing an accident.
In that case alot if lights could be distracting.....
theres a difference between a headlight/taillight for your bike and a ferris wheel. i think these things are a complete distraction and an eyesore.
I agree in a way....
I passed a guy the other evening that had a tail light that was incredibly bright - was eye piercing....

Would be goo if the monkeylectric lights had a dimmer switch.
Maybe people could make money selling there wheels as advertising space - see custom lights....$$$$$
These lights are awesome. When you've been belly down on someone's car hood and you are eyeball to eyeball with the driver who just broadsided you and they reply "Dude I didn't see you". You feel you can't have enough light to let people know that you are on the road! These not only do this they do it in awesome fashion..
dont they say blinking flashing lights attract drunk drivers hahaha.....dude if you have a nice tail light and head light combo and you get hit by a car i really really dont think the flashy fuckin spoke lights would have stopd them from hitting you...
lets stop pretending its all about saftey, some freakazoid decided it would be ultra ravalicious cool to do this and it caught on for a small rediculous handfull but it does not look cool,it turnes your bike into a joke just like all the other gay things alot of fixie riders are doing and it just another lame thing thats gonna have to be defended when some stupid bro askes me if i have fruity lights on my spokes and then luaghs

where i live is a small town but theres still a weekly ride that attracts upwards of 80 to 100 people ,its every wed night and let me tell you i do see people with these lights on their bikes, and let me tell you who has them GIRLS!!!
nuff said lol
wow, too cool for school......
Night rides sound like fun...... A mate of mine does similar xc midnight rides. Don't know of a fixie ride here in Melbourne.....
Cool. I like them. Don't know if I will get a set, but I say let the tin tops see you!
