left side drive

I've never actually seen a left side drive bike. But I have seen some on this site. If some one that has one wishes to respond, why? Is it simply a design deal? I guess all you have to do is reverse the bottom bracket. Not that there is any thing wrong with the concept, just wondering.

check my photos....and there you will "actually" see a left side drive bike. I ran it this way for a good few months while I was waiting a new BB, the spacing just worked perfectly for the rear hub/cog and my crankset set up like this so I ran with it. Ive since swapped it over to right hand side.
