I am fixing up my Ragleigh Grand Prix and Not really sure what color to paint it.

So this is what it looked like for reference  http://velospace.org/node/15108

I stripped it to bare metal. My seat is white(probably going to be replaced) the rims are black weinnman dp18's machined for brakes, the pedals are white odyssey twisteds, the cranks are an annoying color as seen in the photo(not sure if i can paint it or want to).  So I'm thinking keeping it really simple and just  doing black? But now after saying that i relaized the rims are black so eh. I like ze color blue.

hows about silver or bronze?
ehhh. I was thinking of actually a gray of some sort. wish i could just start a whole new build haha
if you have the funds why not. have you thought about slapping on a couple clear coats and keeping it raw steel?
haha don't have the funds.
yeah but I've had a few people warn me against that; rust still ate into the frame somehow. i want some "color"
i like the color combo of black rims black frame with chrome components. maybe a deep dark maroon
maroon is veddddy nice.
dont paint it get spme digital cammo duck tape and place it a;; over ur frame to look likt paint
dip it in chrome
going with black.

trying to figure out if I should paint the lugs white.

black is the ultimate colour - for anything.  you would almost definately get bored with anything else.  dont paint the lugs.  when i got my frame made i could have lug lining at no extra cost but didnt want to get it for the sake of it - still happy with the decision.  black also wins for touch ups, if you rattle can it, it WILL chip!

(whatever you do dont pick a bright colour cos thats gay)

already primed it and i'm going to hopefully paint the black on tonight. only thing is i think i'm going to leave the headtube cluster behind the badge the gray primer and do the rest of the bike black. leaving the lower half of my fork the original chrome as well.
