I am fixing up my Ragleigh Grand Prix and Not really sure what color to paint it.
So this is what it looked like for reference http://velospace.org/node/15108
I stripped it to bare metal. My seat is white(probably going to be replaced) the rims are black weinnman dp18's machined for brakes, the pedals are white odyssey twisteds, the cranks are an annoying color as seen in the photo(not sure if i can paint it or want to). So I'm thinking keeping it really simple and just doing black? But now after saying that i relaized the rims are black so eh. I like ze color blue.

Permalink Reply by Andrew James Faulding on February 7, 2011 at 10:49am black is the ultimate colour - for anything. you would almost definately get bored with anything else. dont paint the lugs. when i got my frame made i could have lug lining at no extra cost but didnt want to get it for the sake of it - still happy with the decision. black also wins for touch ups, if you rattle can it, it WILL chip!
(whatever you do dont pick a bright colour cos thats gay)
