I just started a bag topic the other day. LOL I roll a Dank Bag. Not necessarily custom but all handcrafted one at a time by the same guy. I hondestly don't know if I'll ever rock anything else. I'll see if I can't get some pics up soon.
Ha, like that bag.
I had a custom hipbag that I had made and rocked for awhile (looks like the harvey's hipster). All it could hold was my wallet ipod and phone. Since I got chrome hipbone last christmas i started carrying more (at least a bike tool and sockets). I have to say that the hipbone is awesome on the account that it has a weatherproof liner. Anyways here are a couple cool bag sites.
chrome
chicagowig
crumpler
Its not custome but the Schwalbe bag looks cool, it is made from a tyre that didn't pass quality control and truck tarp so it must be pretty waterproof and waaaayy cheaper than most messenger bags at £25
one off bags all the way
Frieght is good standard or Zo
187 bags are new from SF and kill it. Made by a courier as well
Reload and Pac are good as well
Don't forget Timbuk2. Their bags have a ton of custom options. Not trying to be a corporate shill, but I got a ton of bag for the money. In my opinion, the best value for a messenger bag out there.
I agree with drinkslinger. although a lot of people use just plain old chrome bags, I am not a fan of them at all. Ive had a Timbuk2 D-Lux since last year and its holding up absolutely great!! No issues. But Ive heard of 187 bags from SF and they look killer.

i got mine for 10 buck
