I ride through the center of Denver almost every night so I want to get a solid set of lights but I don't want something that is too bulky -- I definitely want people to see me though...

Any recommendations?

if you need to see the road get the beetle, they're like frogs, but have two LED's, i have a frog and they're hella bright so the cars can see them, i dont like the big bulky lights cuz ima street rider so i dont like crap gettin in my way. they're only 20 bucks to, come in all sorts of colors. what ever floats your boat man.
So l most a year ago I posted about the Topeak light set. I have now switched.

Knog is defintely the way to go.

I have Beetles on both hubs for the cool rolling light effect, then for real dark nights I have a Skink for both front and rear.
They are all super bright and waterproof and easy to take off. Plus I got them on flow along with the wireless computer. Needless to say I'm a riding Knog ad, but the shit's good. So....
I've been using my knog lights for a year. They are awesome but super easy for people to steal if you don't watch out.
yes - knog frogs! they are subtle, and come in all sorts of colors to blend in with your bike - high-powered and good visibility on the road ... Salvagetti sells them. http://www.knog.com.au/
i have knogs for front and rear. the front knog is only the single led.at night where i live which is mostly farm country the front doesn't help me much it justs lets others know something is coming down the road.i basically just have to use my peripheral to see the shoulder of the road or i'm going into the ditch. someday i'll upgrade.someone mentioned the gecko that looks like the way to go.
I have the Planet Bike Beamer http://ecom1.planetbike.com/3029.html for the front and the Superflash clipped to my bag on the back. Nothing fancy but they do a good job and are fairly cheap for lights that are so bright. They handle bad weather well and seem rugged and well made. Both clip on and off easily.
Live in the UK - Exposure light up front - rechargeable, very bright, and internal battery. Knog at the rear
none its more challenging
I'm currently running a KNOG GATOR it is fully rechargeable and has both 3 shades of high beam and also has a low beam with strobe effect and this light will definitely light up the night and holds charge for about 8 hours constant,For the back I run a Knog red light and they are cool but not super bright and uses a double watch battery set-up they are visible but life span could be better,I do double up on the back flashers when I'm doing highway rides at night or in Alley cat rides or Mashes......All in all I do like the Knog company and what they put out with there product line.Im also running a KNOG 12 function NERD and it is great but the night light went out with-in the second week but other then that it is a great tool for what I'm using it for on my FIXED BIKES and they can be put on and taken off easy and stored in your bag when you get to your destination.
I use Portalnd Design Works Spaceship/ RADBOT 500 set, they are very bright & visible to cars at night. I get alot of compliments on them but ppl say they are pricy. I brought them on Amazon because I saved some $$ vs buying them from PDW but check them out
